Foundations are all so different. That’s a large part of what makes the great. But it can mean finding the perfect brush to pair it with extremely difficult. What works for one, may not work for them all. So today I thought I’d take you through my favourite brush and foundation pairings.
Revlon Colorstay Foundation & ELF Powder brush – Revlon Colorstay quite a heavy foundation which means you really need to work this into the skin. I love using this foundation with the ELF Powder brush. It’s really dense and flat which means you can push this into the skin really well.
L’oreal Infallible Matte Foundation & Beauty Blender – L’oreal Infallible is a very full coverage foundation that can be quite drying. I’ve found using this with a damp sponge gives the best results. It soaks up any extra products to prevent caking and adds a little bit of moisture.
Chanel Healthy Glow Fluid & Hands – Chanel Healthy Glow Fluid has barely any coverage and just adds a gorgeous bronzed glow to the face. I’ve found just working this product in your with your fingers allows you to really work it to your skin and the warmth from your hands gives a really natural finish.
L’oreal Lumi Magique Foundation & Real Techniques Buffing Brush – L’oreal Lumi Magique Foundation is a gorgeous foundation that offers a beautiful natural glow. The coverage the foundation offers isn’t as full as I like it to be so I find using the Real Techniques Buffing Brush helps keep the foundation as full coverage as possible while still buffing all the products into the skin making it as natural as possible.
Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation & Real Techniques Stippling Brush – Estee Lauder Doublewear is a medium- full coverage foundation, but unlike L’oreal Infallible it doesn’t not drying in the slightest, so I love using this product with the Real Techniques Stippling Brush and it just leaves your skin with a beautiful airbrushed result.
