NOTD

Although Valentine’s has already come and gone for another year, I’m still on my pink and red high and seeing as I didn’t do a Valentine’s NOTD, I thought now would be appropriate to chuck in a ‘Valentine’s’ themed post.arrow
To me, Valentine’s day screams pink nails. For some, it’s red but for me, it’s all about the pink tones and this Soigné Botanique polish in Mousse Aux Framboises fits the bill perfectly.

Soigné is up there with my favourite nail polish brands with a large part being due to the adorable packaging. The bottle is gorgeous and elegant, which if you’re a regular reader of my blog you’ll know I’m a sucker for fabulous packaging. The lid is nice and tall meaning your can get a really good grip and have loads of control when applying, which will be a major bonus if you’re hand-eye coordination sucks like mine. Another thing I love about the Soigné polish is the brush. It’s thin but wide meaning you won’t overload on product, making a mess and one swipe will successfully coat your whole nail.

In terms of formula, you really couldn’t be asking for anything better. Soigné pride themselves on their superior quality and formula, while creating ECO nail polish, that contains no harmful carcinogens and up to 85% Plant-sourced, natural ingredients, extracted from natural origins such as wood pulp, cotton, potato, corn, wheat and manioc. Plus, the brand doesn’t test on animals and is vegan-friendly. Go Soigné! One coat is enough to have an amazing colour payoff with two coats providing a flawless professional look. Being extremely heavy handed, I constantly chip my nail polish and this is definitely one of the better brands I’ve tried in terms of longevity.
