Beauty Tips That Will Save You So Much Time

Time

Being a woman is hard work. Not only do we want to succeed in everything we do, but we’re also expected to look flawless all day long. Sometimes, however, there just aren’t enough hours in the day to spend primping and preening yourself. We can’t all spend time in the morning contouring to make ourselves look immaculate. If you are looking for ways to help you save time with your beauty regime, then look no further. Here are some of my top tips.

Tint your lashes
If you want to wake up with killer eyelashes, then it is time to tint them. Tint your lashes to make them look longer and fuller without having to use any mascara. It is a process that can last for up for six weeks, so you only have to redo it 8-9 times a year. Think of all the time you will save not only by not having to apply mascara but also removing it at the end of the night. You will be able to flop straight into bed and go to sleep. I had a friend who had tinted lashes and she used to get so many compliments about how gorgeous they were. Never tinted your lashes before? No worries. I have a tutorial coming up showing you how to do it! So make sure to check back for that.

Quick dry nail polish
I love to paint my nails and try out new designs. However, I am also really bad at not smudging my nails. When you are using a colour that requires a few coats, plus a base and top coat, it can feel like your nails take forever to dry. If you want to paint your nails whilst staying on the go, then invest in some good quick dry nail polishes. If you have a nail polish you really love but isn’t quick dry, you can also get quick dry sprays to use on top.

Laser hair removal
When it comes to making sure your legs are hair free or your bikini line is nice and trimmed, it can be a bit of a hassle to be a woman. All the pain we have to go to to keep ourselves looking beautiful is a real annoyance. “I really fancy a bikini wax,’ are six words that no woman has ever uttered. However, if you despise your painful, time-consuming grooming regime there is an alternative solution. Laser hair removal is a way to permanently remove your hair so that you never have to look at another wax strip or razor again. It works by allowing a beam of light to pass through your skin to the hair follicle. This turns into heat which destroys the hair follicle but leaves the surrounding skin untouched. Don’t worry though, you only feel a small tingling sensation.

BB cream
If you don’t like to leave the house without a bit of foundation, try a BB cream instead. Rather than having to apply moisturiser and foundation, a tinted BB cream will work as both. This will leave you looking fresh faced and gorgeous in no time at all. Also, I always think that BB creams don’t take as much effort to apply as foundation does. They aren’t as heavy, so you are less likely to look odd if you do a bad job of it.

Dry Shampoo
It’s coming into winter meaning dark, frosty mornings and the warmth from your bed is just too much to resist. I say have your extra 20 minutes and just use some dry shampoo on your hair instead. Not only will it refresh your oily roots but it’ll also add volume and grip to you hair making buns or braids much easier to style.

  1. BB Cream and Dry Shampoo are definitely two of my staples! I also like felt tip liners because they are super quick, it takes me maybe a minute to do a cat eye! Great post! XO -Kim
