Top 10 Under £10 Beauty Products

Raise your hand if you’re a beauty addict living on a student budget! *frantically waves arms in the air* Yup, having a beauty obsession can come with a pretty hefty price tag but there are some products out there that pack a high-end punch in a drugstore package. So I thought I’d round up some of my favourite products under £10! Enjoy!

LA girl concealerLA Girl Pro Conceal HD Concealer

This is quite a new addition to my makeup collection but I’ve been using it for the last month and it’s the ONLY concealer I’ve been reaching for! As a chronic sufferer of the most stubbornly dark under eye circles, I need a concealer with some serious coverage. This is where I think magic is involved! It’s light weight, blendable, non-drying and covers everything! Until now I’ve always been a loyal user of the Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer as the coverage is insane! However, the formula is quite drying and has a tendency to make my under eye area look 10 years older than the rest of my face! This is why LA Girl has now taken it’s spot on the Golden Throne of Concealers!

Rimmel foundationRimmel Wake Me Up Foundation

As someone who loves a completely matte finish to their appearance I’ve never been too interested in trying out this foundation as it’s claims to give you a radiant glow (a word that terrifies anyone with oily skin). However, this was passed on to me from a good friend who bought a shade too dark for herself. So I figured why not give it a go and golly gosh am I glad I did! Yes, it does give you a glow but a very natural one. The coverage I’d say is light to medium but you could build it beautifully and it looks stunning both in person and on camera! sleek paletteSleek Au Naturel Eyeshadow Palette

Ahhh.. Sleek. Can you do no wrong? This palette is small, compact and made of a sturdy matte black plastic, making this a must have for your travel makeup bag! This comes with 12 shades in the form of pearlescents and mattes. All the shades are extremely pigmented and complement each other beautifully. However, some of the shades are a little on the chalky side and have a teeny bit of fall out but for £7.99 this is honestly an amazing eyeshadow palette.

SLEEK BLUSHSleek Blush in Rose Gold

Officially my all time favourite blush colour. This became popular in the blogging world after being compared with NARS Orgasm blush and for a short period of time became a mission to get hold of. Like all sleek packages it’s small, compact and incredibly sturdy, while still holding 8g of product! Go Sleek! Rose Gold is a coral pink shade with a beautiful golden shimmer to it! What I love about this blush is not only being long wearing but it suits almost all makeup looks I’ve tried it with and all skin tones I’ve tried it on! That’s why it has a permanent home in both my personal and professional makeup kits.

BIOREBiore Facial Cleanser

Until trying this product I was never one for foaming facial cleansers. I just never seemed to notice a difference and felt like I was wasting my time. This has honestly changed my world! Having a problem with black heads I wanted to try something with charcoal in it, as I’d heard it traps oil and dirt, then removes it from the skin. This did everything I wanted and more! You just foam it up, rub it on the skin and all your blackheads have disappeared. Yup, disappeared! I think I may need to do a whole separate blog post on this product with before and after pictures because this is honestly an amazing product and this little paragraph just won’t do it justice!

Colour tatoooooMaybelline 24hr Colour Tattoo

Do I really need to explain? If you’re someone who reads blogs or watches YouTube beauty guru’s, you’ll know all about this product! It’s incredible! These are potted colours that start off blendable and then dry to a solid colour base that honestly does not budge! You can either use these on their own as a wash of colour or underneath eyeshadows as a primer. There are 12 shadows in the collection, ranging from everyday colours to some brighter shades, so there’s something to suit everyone! Again another one of my essentials. Shimmer BrickSeventeen Shimmer Brick

Being desperate for the Bobbi Brown shimmer brick and having absolutely no money to purchase it, I grabbed the Seventeen Shimmer Brick as soon as I saw it! This is absolutely gorgeous and is on my face constantly in the warmer months! The shimmer brick is made up of 4 shades; a light silvery beige pink, a light taupe, a mid bronze with a gold tone and a dark copper bronze. I like to use this swirled together all over the face for a bronzed up look,or just the lightest shades as a cheekbone highlight! It’s honestly beautiful! NYX citrineNYX Lip liner in Citrine

At the end of February I attended the Professional Beauty Show in London and basically raided the NYX stand (see the haul here) as in Wales the only was to get your hands on NYX is online. The stock they had with them was pretty limited but I was really drawn to this colour and it has been on my lips ever since! It’s so beautiful! As my lips are naturally quite dark, this is the perfect ‘my lips but better’ shade for me. This is a great everyday shade and is so creamy, it glides on beautifully! Well done NYX!

batisteBatiste XXL Volume Dry Shampoo

As someone extremely lazy when it comes to washing their hair, dry shampoo is an absolute must for me! Working with hair all the time I’ve tried out several different brands of dry shampoo and nothing has ever come close to Bastise! Recently I decided to try out their XXL Volume Dry Shampoo to help with a little extra lift and this does exactly that and more! It really helps give the hair a whole load of volume and texture, so this is perfect for nights out or photoshoots. The only thing about this is that it does make your hair feel like it has product in it. If you want the fresh, just washed feeling then definitely try out their regular dry shampoo range (I recommend the Tropical one as it smells incredible). But if you’re looking for impact and volume then you have it with this product!

neutrogenaNeutrogena Visibly Clear Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer

This is my holy grail of all holy grail’s! Having oily but dehydrated skin it’s so difficult to find a moisturizer that hydrates my skin enough without leaving my face a greasy, oil slick. But low and behold, here it is! This moisturizer has a gorgeous cooling effect and is lightweight enough to sink straight into your skin while still offering enough hydration to the areas in need. Not to mention it smells like grapefruit and has a lovely refreshing feeling to the skin! I honestly can’t rave about this product enough! It’s amazing!

Have you tried any of these products? What are you’re favourites under £10?

    1. I’ve marked the cleanser review in my calender! So it’ll be up soon! 🙂 I bought my concealer from the Elf store in Cardiff but you can find it online in a couple of places 🙂 Give it a go! It’s so cheap so even if you end up not liking it you won’t be breaking the bank! xx

  1. Love this post . I wanted to try for Batiste Volume Dry Shampoo for awhile now , but I changed my mind cuz the lady from the drugstore said that it feels in like a hairspray. But now I`m definitely gonna give it a go 🙂 thanks

    1. Yeah, the XXL Volume one can feel heavy on the hair if you use a lot… but you honestly can’t even tell with the regular range! I can’t big batiste up anymore if I tried haha! xx
